How It Works A harmless electrical shock, similar to a static electricity shock, is transmitted through the bird's feet when it completes the circuit by touching hot and ground wires simultaneously. Very Discreet Because the Bird-Shock tracks are only 1-1/8" wide and 5/8" high, this is one of the most discreet systems available. It is typically specified for use in high profile areas and is available in a neutral beige color.
